Job Purpose The Employee Services Representative is responsible for being the first point of contact for employees and for visitors, answering phones, maintaining the visitor management system, scheduling tours, reporting as well as other office duties. They are also responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team. Duties and Responsibilities This position will support the Afternoon shift. Hours of work are from 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM. First point of contact for CMP employees Creates employment confirmation letters Posting/removal of daily/weekly HR board information around plant. Also ensure form boards are refilled throughout the week Daily Attendance calls, system entry and employee coding. Manages / Tracks recognition program; thank you’s / On the Spot Nominations Greet, screen and directs all visitors Ensures all visitors/contractors are signed in and issued security tags Answers phones and directs calls in a professional manner Maintains and updates the phone system and voicemail system as required Orders and maintains office supplies Sorts and delivers mail Participates in and assists in coordinating employee social events Maintains access card system and manages any issues related to this Prep tours for employment candidates Maintains company Organization Charts, phone lists and seating Enters new employee information Manage employee birthday cards monthly Process employee parking passes Determine employee eligibility for workplace materials such as safety glasses and safety boots Data management for various initiative: On The Spot Nomination, Birthday Voucher redemptions, boot voucher, etc Provide support on various HR projects and initiatives Organizing and filing of employee paperwork Other duties as assigned Personal Development Attend company required training Remain current with technical knowledge in areas of responsibility Attend regular 1:1 coaching/update sessions Qualifications Successful completion of Office Administration program or HR certificate or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience Above average communication skills, both oral and written A demonstrated high degree of professionalism and diplomacy when dealing with internal/external customers Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint A passion for people High respect for confidentiality Superior time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work from directives with little supervision in a team environment. Conestoga Meats is a processor of fresh premium quality pork that has been in operation since 1982. It is owned and supplied by a co-operative of 170 Southern Ontario family farmers who got into the processing business because they wanted to supply the Canadian market with the same wholesome, delicious pork their own families were enjoying. Over the years we have continued to expand our processing plant with the last major expansion being completed in 2018; continued growth being an integral component of our business plan going forward.
