Screening Programs is looking for an in-office team leader who can inspire and drive innovation and quality. The Innovation Coordinator plays a critical role in applying technology expertise and quality improvement methodologies to lead a frontline onsite team and Screening Programs to be on the forefront of an evolving screening landscape. The coordinator uses evidence-based methodologies, data insights, and change management principles to drive measurable improvements across Screening Programs. As a bridge between teams, the coordinator will apply exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure service delivery is client-centred, efficient, and aligned with strategic priorities.
Description:
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager in Screening Programs, the Innovation Coordinator is responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation in workflows, client experiences, and digital health based on development, execution, and monitoring of QI projects using frameworks such as Lean, PDSA, Six Sigma, or Human Centered Design to ensure quality across Screening Programs. Using effective and organized project management skills, the coordinator will lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate testing of new technologies or processes, implement change management to build capacity, and ensure documentation for multiple concurrent initiatives. The position will also have human resources oversight of the onsite client services team including hiring, training and performance management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Health Informatics, or a related field, and Courses or certificates in design thinking, liberating structures or other innovation courses such as Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management (e.g., PROSCI).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, innovation, or healthcare transformation. Demonstrated experience leading innovation or digital transformation projects in a healthcare or public sector environment from inception to completion. Proven ability to apply design thinking and user-centered design methodologies. Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., IDEO U, LUMA, Lean Startup, or AHS Innovation Pipeline). Proven track record of successful delivery of large to medium size quality improvement projects. Advance computer skills and experience with diverse computer applications including AI applications. Proven human resource leadership experiences, especially with leading in unionized environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives with changing and competing deadlines. Ability to synthesize and summarize data to inform initiative development and develop business cases for new projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Analyst or equivalent qualifications with the Epic (Connect Care) application. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management is an asset. Master’s degree in information technology or health innovation. HR management certificate.
