About the role
We are seeking a proactive, business-focused HR Generalist to join a growing Canadian organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution and wants meaningful visibility with leaders and employees.
You will serve as a trusted HR partner across Ontario and Quebec, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping strengthen employee engagement, leadership capability, and practical HR processes.
What you’ll do Partner with managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, coaching, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Provide confident, practical guidance on employment standards and HR best practices across both Ontario and Quebec. Support payroll coordination, compliance, policy development, documentation, and day-to-day HR operations. Build strong relationships with employees and leaders as a visible, approachable onsite HR resource. Help develop and improve programs related to leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and onboarding. Travel periodically to Quebec to support employees and leaders at an additional location.
What you bring Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. This is a mandatory requirement. 2+ years of Canadian HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience. Strong working knowledge of Ontario and Quebec employment legislation; experience supporting a Quebec-based workforce is highly valued. Experience with employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, recruitment, and HR operations. Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and providing sound HR guidance to leaders. Able to work onsite in Mississauga five days per week and travel regularly to Quebec.
