The People & Culture Generalist plays a key role in delivering a consistent, people‑focused HR experience across MOVATI Clubs. This position supports core HR operations, answers day‑to‑day questions, and helps ensure People & Culture processes run smoothly and accurately. With a solid understanding of HR practices and Club operations, the Generalist contributes to a reliable and supportive HR environment that reflects MOVATI’s values.
As a trusted resource for leaders and employees, the Generalist provides practical guidance on routine employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and everyday workplace questions. The role supports key people programs, contributes to HR reporting and insights, and assists with training and onboarding initiatives. Through clear communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to an inclusive, welcoming culture, this position helps strengthen the employee experience across Clubs through our core values.

Role
Operational Excellence
This role helps create a smooth, people‑first HR experience across MOVATI by supporting core People & Culture operations, guiding leaders and employees through system and process questions, and ensuring employee information remains accurate and reliable. The work brings meaningful variety — staying current on HR best practices, responding to HR inquiries with clarity, and helping resolve issues with a thoughtful, solutions‑focused approach. There’s also active involvement in projects that enhance People & Culture processes and elevate the overall employee experience across Clubs.
Communication & Collaboration
A strong focus on HR operations is central to this role, with responsibility for keeping people processes organized, accurate, and moving smoothly across Clubs. Professional, clear communication helps build trust with leaders, employees, and cross‑functional partners, establishing this role as a reliable point of contact for everyday HR needs. Each situation is approached with calm, fairness, and sound judgment, ensuring support remains steady and dependable even when navigating tight timelines, competing priorities, or sensitive circumstances.
People Support
The Generalist provides thoughtful guidance on foundational employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation, supporting day‑to‑day HR needs in a way that reflects MOVATI’s values and expectations. The role contributes to people programs by preparing HR reports, interpreting people metrics, supporting the entire employment lifecycle, and assisting with training initiatives. This role closely collaborates with all MOVATI teams and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming culture help strengthen leadership capability and enhance the overall employee experience across Clubs.
Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
What You Bring
- A university degree or college diploma in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Strong HR operations and systems capability, with proficiency in common HR and business tools (e.g., MS Office, HRIS platforms).
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions‑focused in sensitive or urgent situations.
- Well‑developed interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong organization, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Sound judgment, decision‑making ability, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with internal partners and external vendors.
- Proven ability to deliver results through accountability, follow‑through, and a service‑oriented approach.
