We're LEDPAX (USA) and GNG Sales (Canada) — a growing, cross-border LED lighting business — and we're hiring a senior finance leader to own and elevate our finance function, with a defined path to Chief Financial Officer.

This is a hands-on, operational role today, with real room to grow. You'll join as Director or VP of Finance depending on your experience, and we'll invest in your development toward the CFO seat. Beyond running the numbers, this person will be a strong leader and a strategic partner to ownership — helping drive the company's growth and overall performance.

🏢 About us Multiple divisions across the US and Canada · inventory in 3PL warehouses on both sides of the border · finance support in India. We recently consolidated onto Odoo as our single system of record, and we're building the finance function to match the pace of the business.

🎯 What you'll do • Own finance process excellence across both companies • Run a reliable, on-time month-end and year-end close • Deliver consolidated reporting across entities and divisions • Build cash flow forecasting and a company budget with variance analysis • Strengthen controls — AP approvals, expense reporting, AR/collections • Own intercompany accounting and consolidations • Build accurate inventory reporting across 3PL partners • Manage US & Canada tax, remittances, and cross-border payroll • Lead the annual engagement review and manage third-party firms (accountants, auditors, advisors) • Serve as the primary banking liaison across both countries • Lead and develop the finance team; set the cadence and standards • Implement HR policies and oversee hiring, onboarding, and people processes • Partner with ownership on strategy, growth, and company performance • Keep optimizing our Odoo ERP

✅ What we're looking for • CPA or equivalent, with senior finance experience • A strong, hands-on leader who builds, coaches, and holds a team accountable • A strategic thinker who connects finance to business growth and performance • Detail-oriented — equally strong in the numbers and with people • Month-end close and financial reporting (multi-entity a plus) • Intercompany, consolidations, cash flow, and budgeting experience • Experience with annual engagement reviews and managing third-party firms • Experience acting as a banking liaison and managing lender relationships • ERP implementation/consolidation experience (Odoo a plus) • Cross-border US/Canada exposure a strong advantage • Experience implementing HR policies and overseeing hiring • Composed under pressure, solutions-oriented, a clear communicator • Ambition to grow into a CFO role
