Job Description We are looking for a motivated and organized HR Advisor - Administrative Support to join our HR team and support the Canadian Helicopters FAcT Program in Southport, Manitoba. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Advisor - Administrative Support will act as the local HR representative and primary point of contact for employees and managers on site. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day HR support, coordinate onboarding activities, maintain employee documentation, and ensure effective communication and coordination between the Southport team and the Human Resources team at Head Office in Quebec. Responsibilities: Act as the local HR representative and primary point of contact for employees and managers at the Southport site. Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers on site, escalating matters to the Human Resources Director or appropriate HR team member as required. Coordinate and oversee the employee onboarding process, ensuring that all required documentation, forms, training, and administrative requirements are completed prior to and upon arrival. Welcome and assist new employees during their onboarding and ensure they have the information and resources required to successfully integrate into the organization. Provide administrative support to the local management team and the HR department. Assist with HR processes and initiatives, including employee communications, documentation, employee relations support, and other HR activities as required. Support managers and employees in understanding and following Canadian Helicopters HR policies, procedures, and processes. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and incoming calls at the local site. May be require to participate in recruitment events such as career fairs or recruitment events. Must be available to travel for several weeks for training purposes. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Degree or certificate in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a Human Resources or administrative role. Experience with an applicant tracking system, an asset. Must be able to obtain Government of Canada Reliability status security clearance. Must be able to obtain access to controlled goods. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite. In-depth knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Calendar. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to reference, read, and interpret procedures and regulations. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Must hold the authorization to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship. Strong working knowledge of English, both spoken and written. French is an asset. Additional Information Status: Permanent, Full time Location: Southport, Manitoba.
