We are a non-profit organization with more than 625 individual and 35 honorary members representing more than 185 member firms. Our member firms are predominantly located in the Metro Vancouver area, but also reach as far as Prince George, the interior and Vancouver Island. More than 80 percent of our members work in small law firms of 15 lawyers or less. The BCLMA is focused on providing you with the professional development, support and networking opportunities you need to enjoy and advance your career in legal management. Lead the firm’s human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee lifecycle processes, performance reviews, policies, and support for articling and summer students. Oversee office services and operational matters, coordinate health and safety and emergency preparedness, and organize firm events and wellness initiatives.

Lead the firm's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, overseeing people and resources, facilities, finances, technology, marketing, and firm events. Partner with firm leaders and managers to improve operational effectiveness, support staff development, and provide reporting that informs decision-making.
