Job summary
Overview This position reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. The Team Lead is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to a team of approximately 6-10 Talent Acquisition Advisors, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality recruitment services and achievement of client service objectives. Accountable for team performance, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction, the Team Lead serves as the primary point of escalation for client concerns, proactively addressing and resolving issues through collaboration and sound judgment before further escalation is required. Your role Manage a portfolio of approximately 10 active requisitions while serving as the primary Talent Acquisition partner for a designated client group, providing end-to-end recruitment support Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, providing mentorship, performance management, and targeted development to ensure recruiters consistently meet service, quality, and hiring objectives. Drive operational excellence across the recruitment function by balancing team workload and capacity, enabling effective sourcing strategies, and ensuring the efficient adoption and utilization of recruitment systems and tools. Monitor and manage team performance through data and analytics, leveraging recruitment metrics, KPIs, and workforce insights to identify trends and address gaps. Ensure stakeholders (hiring managers, project directors, and HR Business Partners) are informed of hiring progress, challenges, risks, and recommended actions to support timely hiring decisions.. Ensure governance, compliance, and data integrity by maintaining recruitment practices that align with legislative requirements, organizational policies, DEI commitments, and established standards for ATS data quality and audit readiness. Champion continuous improvement, collaboration, and candidate experience, leading initiatives that enhance recruitment effectiveness, strengthen employer brand, improve stakeholder satisfaction, and foster alignment across Talent Acquisition leadership and cross-functional partners. About You University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership, coaching, or mentoring capacity, with demonstrated success developing the capabilities and performance of recruitment professionals. Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development that supports individual growth and overall team effectiveness. Strong consultative and relationship management skills, with experience partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders to address complex talent acquisition challenges and deliver effective recruitment solutions. Demonstrated ability to navigate challenging situations and stakeholder escalations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset, while knowing when to appropriately escalate issues to achieve timely resolution. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility, foster collaboration, and drive positive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups. Bilingual fluency (English & French) (*)This position requires proficiency in a language other than French, namely English, as the role involves communicating with candidates, clients, and partners located both within Quebec and outside Quebec.
