Specialized job boards as one of the three most effective methods of recruiting

It is the proportion of companies who consider specialized job boards as one of the three most effective methods of recruiting staff in information and communication technologies (ICT).

According to a survey carried out by Technocompétences involving 70 recruiters in the ICT sector, the use of specialized job boards comes just behind internal reference programs (88%) and before the use of generic job boards (79%).

On the other hand the three least effective methods, still according to the same survey, are: newspapers (given as one of the three best methods by 24% of respondents), job fairs (20%) and finally government sites (13%).

An interesting advocate for internal reference programs and specialized job boards which still remain largely under-utilized considering their good results (used by barely 13% of respondents).
