About Our Boards The Québec English School Boards consist of nine public English-language school boards and one special-status board (Littoral), serving regions across the province. Enrolment per board ranges from 1,300 students (Eastern Shores) to over 25,000 (Montréal-area boards). Together, the boards operate about 340 schools and adult centres, educating over 100,000 students. We offer education from Kindergarten to Secondary V (Grade 11), plus Adult Education and Vocational Training. Some boards provide pre-kindergarten programs for 4-year-olds, and adult/vocational sectors serve learners aged 16+. Each board reflects its local community—varying in size, region, and educational focus. Programs include French Second Language, Core French, Bilingual, and French Immersion. Our graduation rate is close to 90%, thanks to inclusive, student-centered approaches.
