Position: People Operations Coordinator Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid Salary: $60,000-$65,000 Job Type: Permanent Posting Type: Open vacancy Our client, a boutique professional services firm in Toronto, is seeking a bright, organized and proactive People Operations Coordinator to join its small, high functioning and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone building their administrative/operational career and has 1-2 years of administrative, coordination, HR or people operations experience who is looking to take on greater ownership in a fast-paced professional environment. The successful candidate will support a variety of operational, administrative and people-related processes while helping manage recurring reporting, documentation, internal tracking and day-to-day team coordination. This role requires someone who is highly organized, communicates professionally and enjoys taking initiative. Responsibilities will include: - Support a variety of day-to-day operational and administrative processes - Prepare and maintain regular reports and spreadsheets - Conduct follow-up calls and gather information for reporting purposes - Coordinate documentation and other administrative requirements - Maintain accurate information across internal systems, databases and external portals - Assist with reviewing applications for internal opportunities - Provide general administrative and operational support to the broader team - Assist with office coordination and day-to-day administrative needs - Take ownership of ad hoc projects and process improvements as they arise What we're looking for: - Approximately 1-2 years of experience in administration, operations, HR, people coordination or a similar role - University degree or comparable post-secondary education - Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail - Comfortable working with Excel, trackers, databases and administrative systems - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities - Professional and confident communication skills - Positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to take on new responsibilities This role is well suited to someone early in their career who enjoys a combination of coordination, reporting, people interaction and hands-on administration and wants to continue building their experience within a supportive professional team.
