As a Performance Marketer, you will help optimize, scale and manage paid marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on paid search. This position requires previous experience in optimizing performance marketing initiatives and an eagerness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven and creative thinker. As part of the growing Demand Generation team at 7shifts, you will be working with the latest technologies and be empowered to grow and succeed in your role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and optimize paid search advertising campaigns in order to achieve lead and monthly revenue targets
  • Manage and pace large paid media budget across multiple channels
  • Research new keywords and audiences to help scale marketing efforts, improve efficiency, and generate incremental leads
  • Perform competitive analysis and build strategies to better position 7shifts in the market
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure campaigns are following best-practices and remain up-to-date with creatives and product-market-fit
  • Troubleshoot performance and technical issues with campaigns, landing pages, and ad platforms
  • Run A/B testing experiments in order to improve various creative elements across all marketing channels and assets

What you have:

  • 2+ years of experience managing paid search advertising campaigns (Google and Bing)
  • Strong understanding of how to use tools like Google Analytics and Google/Bing Ads editor
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and performing bulk updates to ad campaigns
  • Experience building reports, visualizing data using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and Excel/Google Sheets, as well as the ability to analyze data and trends, to generate actionable insights
  • Familiarity with CRM and MA tools such as Salesforce/Pardot
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – and a track record of putting them to work
  • Passion for digital marketing and stays up-to-date on latest industry news and trends
  • Problem-solving mentality with a strong attention to detail
  • Creative mindset to evaluate ad performance and maintaining creative best practices
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing through University, College, and/or any credible learning institution

It’d be cooler if you had:

  • Experience managing other digital marketing channels such as paid social (i.e. Facebook), software marketplaces (i.e. Capterra), and/or affiliate marketing (i.e. Shareasale)
  • Previous working experience in restaurant, technology, and/or SaaS industries
  • Certifications in Google, Facebook, and/or Salesforce
