The Sr. Advisor, Global Compensation will participate in the various initiatives and projects related to programs, policies and procedures of the different global compensation components. 
The incumbent of this position will also participate jointly with the team in the various Comp and Ben annual processes of the compensation cycles and benefits renewal.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will be:


  • Lead and administers annual cycles such as annual salary review and hourly progression models, variable pay process, pension eligibility and enrolment. 
  • Conduct job evaluations, participate in salary recommendations, compensation and benefits surveys and analysis, pay equity and policy and practices market analysis.
  • Leads various compensation projects which involve development, revision or re-design of HR programs and policies, guidelines and training material.
  • Participate in Health and Wellness initiatives and with the total rewards communication on an ongoing basis;
  • Lead audits, research, analysis and recommendation for various situations related to our compensation, benefits and pension programs and structure and ensures policies and programs are competitive and compliant with applicable legislation;
  • Deal with all management levels, and act as an expert for human resources partners;
  • Ensure data integrity in the HRIS system and manage analytics.


  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Actuarial Mathematics or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Bilingual, French & English (spoken and written);
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel;
  • HR information system knowledge, more specifically "Workday" would be an asset; 
  • Good knowledge in Group insurance and pension plan;
  • Have a keen sense of organization, initiative, rigor, team spirit and discretion;
  • Proven ability in interpersonal and customer service communication skills;
  • Available to travel on an ad-hoc basis
