Solertia Consulting Group has been an HR business partner with Fleurco for many years. We assisted them to achieve Pay Equity, comply to the 1% Law, build a competitive salary structure, develop important policies, and performed internal diagnostics to improve the human resources function. We are now mandated to find a candidate that is driven, personable, and eager to learn. Of course, we want to find someone that knows HR, but it goes beyond that. You should be a self-starter, ready to integrate in the beautiful company culture built over the last decades. You will be a confidante to the employees who need an internal resource to answer questions and handle any HR situations with tact and diplomacy.
Your CV should be able to showcase your 4 to 6 years in Human Resources, working in a role of managing the department, playing an advisory, participative, and strategic role with the executive team, taking initiative to work on a variety of HR projects to highlight your soft and hard skills, and telling us the story of your natural career progression as a leader.
The job requires to be knowledgeable in Canadian employment laws. You will need to show a keen interest to learn US laws to support teams and managers at a distance. Mastery of the English language is extremely important with a good base in French. Travelling from time-to-time to the US is also a requirement to ensure cohesiveness of HR practice in the cross-border teams.
