Under the responsibility of the Director - Talent Management, the Advisor - Workday Talent Management will represent the Talent Management team in Workday process analysis and design, and in configuring, deploying and maintaining the talent management module.

As a member of the project team, the Advisor - Workday Talent Management will actively participate in the various phases of the project, as set out in the comprehensive plan, and contribute his/her sound understanding of talent management and expertise in best practices, processes and requirements. His/her work experience will include contributing to successful implementation of large-scale human resources / talent management solutions.

More specifically, the Advisor - Workday Talent Management will work closely with the project team and the Talent Management team to:

  • Help design processes and advise the team, in keeping with best practices in talent management
  • Determine setup requirements and participate in configuring and testing the Talent modules (succession, performance, training) in Workday in order to optimize the user experience
  • Define the training strategy, prepare documentation and distribute training workshops as needed
  • Develop and implement a change management and communications plan to promote buy-in to the new ways of doing things
  • Participate in data conversion, cleansing and entry, as needed
  • Adapt legacy content and tools, migrate them to the solution, and develop new ones if needed
  • Identify needs and help develop reports and dashboards
  • Support staff and users during all project phases
  • Transfer expertise and prepare transfer to Talent Management team at project completion


  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, computer systems, information management systems or another related field
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge of talent management processes and best practices
  • Practical experience in setting up and using an HRIS (Workday an asset)
  • Background in training and / or organizational development (an asset)
  • Ability to understand business processes, their current applications and possible future evolution, based on the technological solution's possibilities
  • Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken
