Job Description

You will report to the Global Compensation Manager and be in charge of the benefits administration team at the Employee Service Centre. The team consists of six people, four technicians, a coordinator, and an HR system specialist. You will mainly supervise the activities of the team in order to provide optimal administration of group insurance plans, pension plans and savings programs, as well as the various leaves offered to employees.

Challenges that await you:

  • Be the reference for all aspects of benefits administration and as such, advise managers, HR business partners and members of your team for complex cases.
  • Validate invoicing and premium adjustments for group insurance plans to ensure that the information is accurate.
  • Ensure that absences are properly processed (vacation, maternity leave, disability, etc.) and that deductions are communicated to the payroll team.
  • Be the daily contact with the various service providers.
  • Participate in store acquisition processes to expand our network and provide the necessary support to our banner stores.
  • Be responsible for the HR system for everything related to benefits and leave.
  • Provide excellent customer service, meet established deadlines, and implement performance indicators.
  • Recommend opportunities to optimize and improve our processes.


Your contribution to the team:
You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the benefits field and a minimum of 3 years in team management, combined with a bachelor's degree in human resources, administration, actuarial science or any other relevant training.

You are also recognized for:

  • Your ability to synthesize ideas and communicate them effectively in both French and English.
  • Your sense of organization allows you to carry out multiple tasks while remaining productive and efficient in a dynamic environment.
  • Your leadership is positive and genuine.
  • Your excellent sense of customer service, your analytical mind and your ability to propose creative solutions.
  • Your knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft and Workday is an asset).
