Specific accountabilities

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, and working closely with the team of talent acquisition advisors, the Sourcer, Talent Acquisition, will be responsible for developing strategies and carrying out candidate search and headhunting activities, as well as updating the database of potential applicants. He or she will be given recruitment sourcing assignments for a wide range of positions across Canada, from individual contributors to high-level managers. The incumbent will also contribute to special projects to improve or develop talent acquisition tools and processes.

Main duties include:

  • Establish candidate profiles in collaboration with the team of talent acquisition advisors;
  • Develop effective multi-channel strategies to source and approach candidates whose profiles correspond to the Company's organizational needs;
  • Execute headhunting assignments;
  • Build and maintain candidate databases for position categories in key sectors;
  • Maximize the use of existing recruiting tools and constantly seek out innovative ways to attract talent;
  • Optimize the Company's visibility and develop partnerships with various employment organizations and staffing agencies (schools, professional associations, etc.);
  • Develop and maintain a professional network on social media;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of various human resources projects.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or a related field;
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar position within a recruiting firm or an HR department;
  • Experience in recruiting for professional and executive positions;
  • Keen insight into organizational issues and ability to make connections based on market realities;
  • Excellent command of online search tools, social media and advanced search techniques;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills;
  • Self-directed multitasker with a strong sense of prioritization and the ability to perform under pressure;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
