District M is a digital technology company that provides unique solutions for publishers and advertisers. As an IT Recruiter reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will deliver top-tier advice in talent acquisition and talent management. You will also participate in several organizational development and change management projects.

IT Recruitment (70%)

  • Act as a talent ambassador and ensure a positive candidate experience, through social media, recruiting activities, networking, etc.
  • Use sourcing strategies to create a pipeline of candidates to meet current and future needs.
  • Identify potential talent using clever and creative methods.
  • Stay abreast of talent acquisition trends to gain knowledge that will strengthen our success and competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with the Director of Human Resources in order to make fair offers that are even-handed and aligned with the market.
  • Provide support and advice to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with professional associations and networks in order to create talent pipelines.
  • Educate and coach hiring managers on interview techniques and best practices.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics.

Culture and Other HR Projects (30%)

  • Participate in the development of organizational best practices and ensure that managers understand and apply them.
  • In a context of organizational changes, guide managers and act as an ambassador for change.
  • Work closely with the Director of Human Resources on the implementation of a new performance framework.
  • Identify and lead projects to increase Districters' engagement and retain our top talent.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new employees and offboard the employees that leave the company.
  • Develop and analyze HR metrics, such as employee turnover reports. 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in IT recruitment with high-volume recruitment.
  • Knowledge and experience with sourcing techniques.
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with BambooHR (a plus).
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
