UAP is offering a superb opportunity for an experienced global compensation manager, for its Canadian head office located in eastern Montréal! Join our human resources team with over 35 people serving all of Canada. You will get off to a solid start because of the knowledge transfer from the current holder of the position who decided to take a well-deserved retirement!

Reporting to the senior vice president, human resources and communications, you will be responsible for preparing, implementing and managing effective and equitable strategies for global compensation across Canada, with the objective of supporting the company's strategic plans. You will be responsible for delivering competitive compensation solutions which are based on best practices and market analyses aligning with the company's growth plan. In your role you will drive various global compensation projects and participate in several human resource initiatives, based on the triennial human resource strategic plan. Your responsibilities will be varied and stimulating! They will in particular include base and variable compensation, benefits and retirement plans, vacation and paid leave programs, mobility, and health and well-being for all of our Canadian employees. You will do that with the support of a team of compensation professionals and you will work in collaboration with all the human resource personnel and also with the corporate management team. 

Requirements :

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in global compensation matched with first cycle studies in human resources, actuarial sciences or other relevant domain. You are bilingual and distinguished in all aspects of global compensation. Also, you have an excellent knowledge of HRIS and you are a member of ORHRI. Personally, you are a teambuilding manager recognized for analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain solid interpersonal relationships both within the company and with outside partners. With your in-depth expertise in global compensation, and also your results focus, you are able to establish both pragmatic and innovative solutions supporting the business needs of an active organization that is solidly growing.
