The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for implementing the strategy, process, tactics and tools required for recruitment and selection, consistent with Investissement Québec's talent needs. It must contribute to a candidate experience that stands out in the market and in relation to the strategic human resources plan. The advisor will help to promote the Company's various attraction and visibility activities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the planning, development and deployment of the Company's talent attraction and acquisition strategy.
  • Work closely with members of the Talent Acquisition Team, HR Business Partners, Labor Relations Advisors and Compensation.
  • Accompany and advise managers throughout the process to define tactics, means and tools to identify and select the best talent.
  • Coach managers in our strategy of partnership and support of certain activities of the process in order to make radiate and make live a distinctive candidate experience.
  • Carry out proactive screening of talents using the latest relevant digital technologies as well as its professional network related to the clienteles served (clients, candidates, institutions, experts, etc.).
  • Ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process, from needs analysis to hiring, reception and integration of new resources.
  • Participate in the development of our strategy to increase the visibility of the Company as a distinctive employer and train the various internal partners as needed.
  • Be on the lookout and apply best practices and market trends as well as watch for competition in the acquisition of talent.
  • Manage the relationship with the different external partner firms to ensure consistency and quality of processes (ATS, pre-employment verification firm, digital platforms, recruitment firm, etc.)
  • Track key performance indicators related to the recruitment process and contribute to their improvement and evolution.

 Specific qualifications required:

  • Have a university degree in human resources management, industrial relations or a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience including 5 years in a role in talent acquisition, ideally in the financial and corporate field.
  • Recruitment experience in a unionized environment, including a variety of job categories and varied working conditions.
  • Significant experience in the use of social media from the point of view of recruitment, solicitation and brand recognition.
  • Experience in developing programs and deploying talent attraction and acquisition projects.
  • Have a good command of the tools of the Microsoft Office suite, Taleo, LinkedIn, Boolean research, etc.
  • Be a member of the Order of Certified Human Resources Advisors (an asset).
