Reporting to the co-COOs, the Director, Talent & Culture is a key player in the development and evolution of Olive. With his or her strategic vision and human approach, the Director, Talent & Culture is responsible for the HR ecosystem that drives Olive's growth and creates a work environment that reflects our values. The Director of Talent and Culture works with managers to ensure that practices are in place, including leadership, employee experience, integrated talent management, health and wellness and engagement.
Specifically, the Director, Talent and Culture:
Develops and ensures the implementation of all HR programs and practices to support the evolution of the organization, promote Olive's culture and increase team performance, engagement, and well-being.
Provides leadership to an HR team that is creative in implementing innovative solutions to HR challenges. Manages the Talent & Culture action plan and budget.
Promotes a people-centric leadership culture that reflects Olive's DNA. Develops and implements a leadership development program based on an action learning approach and coaches managers.
Implements talent acquisition and development strategies to ensure that the right talent is available at the right time and that Olive's people can reach their full potential and promote their career development.
Develops and manages occupational health and wellness programs.
Responsible for the needs analysis, prioritization, and execution of the overall annual training plan.
Responsible for the management of total compensation including the management of the salary structure and annual processes.
Implements a facilitation approach to organizational change by ensuring employee buy-in and ensuring the organization's ability to integrate change.
Creates the essential conditions for an organizational climate that stimulates employee commitment and ensures Olive's reputation as an employer of choice.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and member of the CHRA.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources in organizations undergoing transformation, including 5 years of experience in a strategic role and coaching of management teams.
Relevant experience in team management, change management and demonstrated expertise in integrated talent management (talent acquisition and development, compensation, performance management), leadership and culture development.
Experience in a medical and/or technology industry.
Experience in a start-up or growing SME environment.
Excellent knowledge of labor laws.
Human, creative, and entrepreneurial leader with an action and results oriented personality.
Recognized for his strong interpersonal skills, his ability to listen and his approach that stimulates openness, continuous improvement, and team spirit.
Excellent systemic vision of human resources management, strong capacity for analysis, judgment, and adaptation.
Bilingual and excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).
