Description:

Behind every well-delivered learning session, presentation and meeting is a great training Coordinator/Producer. The role of the producer is to support the presenter/facilitator and transform the virtual event into a trouble-free and interactive session that keeps audiences engaged and the presenter on track. Presenters rely on the producer to launch all media at the appropriate time; handle rapid task switching; and monitor the technical aspects of the virtual event, including launching polls and monitoring chats, which allows the presenter to focus on facilitating the content in an interactive and engaging format.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and familiarize themselves with all technical components of WebeX training software (training provided)
  • Liaise with facilitators to prepare facilitator/producer scripts, offering suggestions for interactivities and timing
  • Prepare for training delivery by reviewing materials, attending rehearsals and confirming all necessary technical configurations
  • Develop materials for virtual sessions including slides, producer guides, facilitator guides, and participant guides
  • Conduct pre-session technical checks with participants and resolve any issues encountered.
  • Make changes to in-progress virtual sessions, troubleshooting and resolving audio and connection issues during virtual sessions
  • Manage technical support during training delivery by providing audio and visual support to attendees and speakers
  • Manage the training calendar and the registration process
  • Maintain high-level familiarity of all features needed to conduct flawless virtual deliveries

Critical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English, French is a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships virtually with a diverse group of staff and consultants
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team
  • Able to work at different times in different time zones

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
