General Accountability
Responsible for various recruitment and selection functions within an assigned portfolio, ensuring positions are filled with the best available candidates in a timely manner in accordance with consistent, fair and equitable employment practices. Conducts intake meetings with client departments, reviews postings, sources, shortlists, and interviews applicants. Assesses and evaluates applicants' qualifications to determine their suitability for employment/placement; and extends or assists with offers of employment when appropriate. Organizes and prioritizes hiring to ensure business needs are being met, and performs a variety of administrative duties related to areas of responsibility.
