Talent Acquisition Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the full cycle recruitment and selection process and HR Generalist functions.  Responsibilities include Health & Safety, HR Compliance, Policies development, talent sourcing, attraction, interviewing and onboarding new hires. A team player who can keep pace with the company's growth plans and partner with the V.P. of HR to advance the organization's talent strategies. The successful candidate will have a keen eye when screening resumes, candidate sourcing, and conducting interviews for all BUs to achieve the Company Vision and shared values of Believing, Belonging, Becoming and Building.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Selection

  • Develop sustainable recruiting strategy based on our goals and needs
  • Use multi-channel approach to recruit and source passive and active candidates
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, culture fit, experience and aptitudes
  • Coordinate Job Fair, Job placement, Orientation Program, job referral, retention programs and employer branding
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to facilitate proactive vs. reactive recruitment plans
  • Determine the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies
  • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passionate candidates
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Adhere to laws, rules and regulations applicable to recruitment & selection
  • Adhere to personal data privacy regulations
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices

On-Boarding

  • Develop an onboarding program to include; payroll, benefits, Company Operating procedures and health and safety instruction to the staff
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated

Reporting

  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
  • Prepare monthly Recruitment & Selection reports on a weekly basis including KPIs, progress etc.

Employer Branding

  • Plan and implement a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
  • Promote company's reputation as "best place to work"

HR Generalist

  • Responsible for H&S program and HR Compliance matters
  • Generalist work will also include development of HR SOPs, Employee Handbook, Investigations, Regulatory compliance & Reporting, ER work.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 7 years proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Ability to administer and leverage behavioral and aptitude assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Degree in HR or Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing
  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-confident and results driven and not afraid to admit when things are done wrong
  • Minimum 5-years experience working on HR generalist responsibilities

NECESSARY SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience recruiting within the health care industry
  • Experience working with 30+ open positions in any given time.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System
