Senior Sourcing Consultant

We have upcoming contract opportunities on our Talent Acquisition Sourcing Team in the new year!

As a Senior Sourcing Consultant, you’ll lead Sourcing initiatives and build sourcing strategies for various technical areas across the bank. You’ll work with the best and brightest in the areas of Engineering, Technology, Design, Analytics, Data Science, Product, Agile and Innovation, helping to identify key talent through out-of-box approaches and sourcing strategies. You’ll also have an opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects to further make an impact in enhancing the Sourcing practice and take your career to the next level.

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships, leveraging the broader bank’s relationships, systems and knowledge
• You are passionate about finding the right talent for the right role. You will hunt for talent, unwilling to surrender until you have found the right candidate
• You are passionate about advancing the diversity & inclusion attraction strategies
• Work closely with executives and leaders on their hiring needs, and recruit for senior, complex and specialized roles across technical areas of the bank
• Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines through out-of-box approaches and sourcing strategies
• Network, outreach and get involved in industry tech events to represent Scotiabank and the Digital Factory
• Build and execute plans in the areas of attraction strategies, sourcing
• Provide market intelligence to your business, functioning two steps ahead to stay proactive

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

• You have at least 5 years of progressive IT/Digital recruitment and technical experience, preferably in Digital and in the areas of Design, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Product, Agile and/or Innovation
• You have experience building diverse candidate pipelines for complex and niche roles and skill sets
• You’re a Talent Scout with experience sourcing passive candidates through various tools, including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter
• You’re an industry expert and true brand ambassador; you have your finger on the pulse so that you can provide high-quality market intelligence to ensure that you’re a trusted adviser to your business, network and the candidates that you represent
• You put the candidate experience first; you understand the importance of creating positive experiences, regardless of whether your candidate is hired
• You have a strong sense of urgency in this competitive tech market
• You have expertise in technical and behavioral interviewing techniques
• You believe life is all about learning and you still have a lot to learn
• You are self-aware and personal growth is important to you
• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
