ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Are you passionate about orchestrating and optimizing our retail talent, training, and instructional design initiatives to develop Sephora's talent? As the Program Manager, Retail Talent & Training you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Canada and the US to ensure our programs are successfully designed and delivered. The role focuses on tracking and reporting on active projects and programs that directly influence the retail focus on client experience! Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will refine our strategy and processes, develop and implement programs that develop our talent throughout retail in alignment with achieving our business objectives!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Acquire and understand the organization's strategies, business issues, risks and opportunities while developing and implementing talent and training strategies for retail
  • Lead design, development, delivery and evaluation of tools, resources and programs to build the skills, knowledge and behaviours of store employees and leadership teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives, accuracy, language considerations and leadership needs are met
  • Identify process gaps/improvements and implement tools to improve efficiency while evaluating the effectiveness of all learning solutions, measuring return on investment, and tracking business impact
  • Plan and implement programs while collecting and handling changes to requirements, leading competing priorities, and overseeing impact on budget and time
  • Anticipate project risks throughout the project timeline, communicating risks' impact effectively, and proposing mitigation plans to cross-functional teams
  • Partner with other cross functional leaders and bring practices from North American/Global partners while finding opportunities to enhance our end-to-end processes
  • Support Talent, Training and Instructional Design through meaningful metrics and maintaining data integrity
  • Perform market research on the Talent, Training, and Instructional Design landscape, maintain a strong grasp of industry trends and competition, and share relevant information with the business

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5-7 years of experience in learning, talent development and/or instructional design with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 5+ years of project management experience with excellent prioritization and planning skills
  • You have mastered the art of collaboration - you love working in a fast-paced environment and have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are versatile - you have an eye for business, demonstrated ability to be agile, learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar subject matter areas
  • You give meaning to data - you pay attention to detail and love using your analytical skills to solve complex or ambiguous problems
  • You are tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Smartsheet, MS Project; you have experience with HRIS, Learning Management Systems (LMS)
