Position Summary...

This position is responsible for implementing the Canada ethics and compliance training and awareness strategy and plan for the organization, playing a key role in developing and implementing compliance training and awareness activities to drive a culture of compliance within the company.

What you'll do...

1. Oversee the implementation of the Canada training and awareness strategy for the compliance organization, by (i) aligning to global minimum requirements, (ii) complete training and awareness needs assessment with subject matter experts, (iii)maintaining and communicating the training plan to all stakeholders, (iv) measuring effectiveness of the delivered training and awareness plan throughout the year.
2. Manage the global training and awareness plan in quickbase and complete monthly reporting requirements.
3. Govern the ethics and compliance training and awareness intake process for new or enhanced modules in order to align stakeholder support, monitor implementation and update the training plan and reporting requirements.
4. Partner with subject matter experts to create and approve awareness activities to address key initiatives and risks while ensuring the selection of the most effective awareness media (and channels within the business) for specific messages and audience selection.
5. Support the execution of a brand strategy for the compliance organization, consistent with building and maintaining a culture of compliance throughout the company.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key cross-functional communications and training teams across the enterprise, ensuring that training and awareness activities are integrated into the broader business plan and activity management plan.
7. Coordinate the timing and implementation of compliance training and awareness activities, aligning to and balancing organizational priorities with compliance training and awareness needs.
8. Constantly scan the internal and external business environment, monitor trends and identify opportunities for training and awareness innovation, best practices and process improvements.


  • 6+ years’ experience in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working within an internal communications function
  • Experience in adult learning principles and learning design (Computer based learning, instructor led, and training documents)
  • Effective storyteller with clear, concise written and oral communication (including newsletter-style template design, script writing for video communications, etc.)
  • Video editing experience an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels, and manage and influence up
  • Experienced at managing multiple, complex projects and stakeholders at the same time
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
