Graphics Systems Attainment Lead Engineer - 106921

THE ROLE:

We are a cutting-edge systems engineering team focused on DGPU products that deliver performance leadership and superior power efficiency. The team is passionate about power and performance with primary responsibilities in emulation, post-silicon bring-up, feature and workload optimization and characterization, debug and product optimization.

The successful candidate will drive, execute and debug end-to-end validation and optimization tests for power and performance from emulation to production. The successful candidate will develop new methodologies and tools to evaluate the silicon, while leaning on cutting edge technology to deliver product leadership.

THE PERSON:

You are passionate about technology, continuously seeking to grow, self-starter, and a high sense of accountability with relentless determination. You have strong analytical skills, a critical thinker and have superior communication and cross-functional influence skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for systems deliverables in product definition, product definition verification, power optimization and performance optimization of the DGPU system
  • Accountable for systems optimization of power and performance features of the graphics product
  • Lead and drive graphics product optimization that meets and exceeds power and performance metrics
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in silicon design, board design engineering, program management, systems engineering, customer engineering, product engineering and reliability engineers to develop the most compelling DGPU products in the market
  • Lead the evaluation, characterization and optimization of DGPU power and performance
  • Lead product definition, power and performance validation during pre-silicon planning, post-silicon bring-up, product definition and validation, and production ramp
  • Lead systems engineering optimization of power and performance attainment of customer systems
  • Drive continuous improvement for power and performance optimization methodologies
  • Drive and partner with product architects, product managers, power and performance architects, emulation and validation teams, board design engineering, customer engineering to deliver graphics solutions optimized for power and performance

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong, proven leadership, critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills
  • Successful candidate must have proven vertical and cross-functional leadership experience
  • Strong technical background in PC systems and graphics
  • Strong understanding of computer organization/architecture and workload analysis
  • Power and performance systems optimization background
  • Deep understanding of digital electronics
  • Strong understanding of power and thermal management
  • Extensive laboratory experience, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Experience and exposure to systems engineering validation and product engineering (yield, foundry process and test) an asset
  • Strong analytical /problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter to drive tasks to completion and be resilient through technical challenges

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • A Bachelor of Science and/or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
