We are looking for Mechanics - Heavy Duty, and Truck & Coach at our Walker - Aggregates and Construction Division - Grey-Bruce location.

Mechanic - Heavy Duty / Truck & Coach

We are looking for experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics and Truck and Coach Mechanics to learn and grow within our organization.

These positions would be working full time out of our Grey-Bruce Office in Kemble, Ontario. Walker offers a competitive wage, full group benefits, a pension plan, and many other industry-leading Walker perks. There is potential for growth within the company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Servicing heavy equipment on regular intervals, including preventative maintenance
• Can perform major mechanical repairs to the equipment
• Responsible for maintaining the company's preventative maintenance program and work order system in a timely manner
• Additional training will be provided if necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a heavy-duty or truck and coach mechanic is an asset
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere equipment are assets
• Experienced truck and coach technician, certification an asset
• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification as asset
• Common core training is an asset but not required
• Experience working in a quarry or construction environment is an asset
