Human Resources Generalist

Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain accurate employee files
  • Ensure employment, human rights, and all health and safety laws are upheld
  • Conduct employee orientation
  • Plan and organize employee social events
  • Create and update job postings, screen resumes and prepare offer letters
  • Overseeing the Health and Safety program
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with others
  • Proven organization skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment standards and law
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with others
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in Human Resources preferably in a Hotel setting.
  • Completion of College or University with specialization in Human Resources.
