Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:
Create and maintain accurate employee files
Ensure employment, human rights, and all health and safety laws are upheld
Conduct employee orientation
Plan and organize employee social events
Create and update job postings, screen resumes and prepare offer letters
Overseeing the Health and Safety program
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Ability to empathize with others
Proven organization skills
Strong knowledge of employment standards and law
Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to quickly build relationships with others
A minimum of 3-5 years in Human Resources preferably in a Hotel setting.
Completion of College or University with specialization in Human Resources.
