Position Summary

The individual will manage execution and development of our commercial training organization—NanoMedU, under direction of the program leader. This role will serve as a key member of the Marketing team, where you will work with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and deliver content to train our prospective clients and current customers on fundamentals and workflows for a rapidly evolving technology platform for genomic medicines in infectious diseases, cancer and rare diseases. You will help promote and facilitate training sessions delivered live by teleconference, in person at our facility and as on-demand e-learning. You should have a strong scientific background with great communication skills and be comfortable communicating and helping others communicate complex scientific concepts to a broad audience. This position may require some travel.


  • Work with team leader to research, develop and present learning content
  • Develop new scientific learning content as appropriate for future courses both in-person and digital format
  • Project manage ordering and delivery of learning materials such as training kits for customers/participants to ensure courses run smoothly and on-time
  • Manage NanoMedU course calendar to increase client registration and develop annual program
  • Recruit and coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts including customers and key opinion leaders
  • Host and chair live online and in-person learning events
  • Some lab-based testing and development of practical learning sessions may be required
  • Work with cross-functional teams to promote NanoMedU courses across operating companies and increase marketing promotions globally


  • Ph.D. degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or related Life Sciences discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience providing training or related work experience equivalency.
  • Proven experience teaching technical topics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and training scientific concepts, applications and methods.
  • Experience in formulation development, process optimization and scale-up.
  • Strong customer focus – able to identify different customer/market segments, various buyer types, and develop marketing programs that address their specific needs.
