We are looking for a driven, dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our People & Culture (P&C) team in our newly merged organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of building trusted relationships with the business, coaching leaders and driving people initiatives that align to organizational strategy.
What You’ll Do:
Business Partnerships: Build trusted, strategic partnerships with your business partners. That means you’re spending most of your time in the field and are at the table with your business partners. You’ll know the business inside and out and provide strategic HR advice and solutions. You’ll coach your business partners, bringing out the very best in their people leadership capabilities.
Talent Management: Partner with People Leaders to “talk talent” all the time, including conducting regular talent reviews that align with Prospera’s overall Talent Management strategy.
Performance Management: Use your strong knowledge of the business to be on top of individual, team and overall business performance within your portfolio, so you can advise on strategies to support excellent performance and address performance gaps.
Strategic Workforce Planning: Execute on the HR deliverables in Prospera’s strategic workforce plan that support our 2-3 year business strategy. You’ll be an active contributor to the SWP thanks to your curiosity and strong knowledge of internal and external factors impacting the business.
Employee Relations: Support People Leaders through all employee relations issues including providing coaching on conflict management.
Partnership and Collaboration with Centres of Excellence (COEs): Build collaborative relationships with COEs within P&C (i.e. Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Attraction) and leverages those relationships to support the business.
What You’ll Bring:
A degree/diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline with at least 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in an HR generalist role.

Strategic skills. You’re interested in the big picture and are able to see patterns and trends and make tactical and strategic adjustments to plan accordingly.
