HR Administrator - Human Resources (Temporary, Full-time)

This entry-level opportunity provides key administrative support to the HR team with respect to various HR activities including, but not limited to; Human Resource Information System (HRIS); health, safety and wellness; training and development; HR policies; and general office support.

This is a 1 year contract, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

Key Accountabilities:

HRIS Support

  • Accurately complete transactions and workflows in the HRIS on time and answer general inquiries and troubleshoot common HRIS issues.
  • Draft standard letters related to a variety of HRIS transactions.
  • Run business intelligence (BI) reports as per procedures.

Health, Safety and Wellness Administration

  • Answer general inquiries about the Live Well Now program.
  • Coordinate annual wellness programs and administer the first aid program.
  • Assist with, and participate in, health and safety initiatives.

Training and Development Support

  • Schedule individual leadership assessment sessions for all new managers.
  • Accurately input orientation and training data in the learning management (LMS) system.

HR Policy Administration

  • Administer HR responsibilities as prescribed by various HR policies and programs.
  • Update HR pages on the company's intranet.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and take and distribute meeting minutes, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone with experience in delivering service excellence orientation, and working with a high degree of discretion in handling confidential information. You will be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team, and good organizational, attention to detail and time management skills are essential.

In addition, you will have strong communication and business writing skills and full proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy is required.

This role is based out of our Central City Corporate Centre.
