OpenRoad Auto Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Payroll Associate (One-Year Contract) at our Head Office in Burnaby.

Your contribution:

  • Processing payroll for approximately over 1300 employees on a semi-monthly basis.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records by processing new hires, changes of status, rate/salary changes, terminations, etc.
  • Calculate manual cheques for terminated employees, missed hours, reporting errors, etc.
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues and benefit plans.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by management.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:


  • Be able to handle multiple duties and projects simultaneously.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Possess strong computer knowledge, including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Have previous payroll administration experience.
  • Experience with CDK and Payworks and Reynolds & Reynolds payroll is preferred.
  • Ability to work constructively with members from all departments within the dealership.
  • Ability to think logically
  • Ability to handle large volume transactions efficiently and work under great pressure with tight dead line
