Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include three manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres (CSC’s) in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg. We are currently recruiting for a Regional Manager to join our Edmonton team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Manager is responsible for all sales and supporting operations in the Edmonton area. This role is responsible for all functions of the CSC on a day to day basis including coordination and direction of activities within the CSC to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure operational effectiveness.

The Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, growing and developing key accounts and reaching/exceeding sales targets. This role requires someone with a high level of leadership capability, who is comfortable leading large-scale change management, strategic vision and has the ability to develop leaders. A success driven individual, this person also has led effective teams and is committed to providing excellent customer service. Along with being a forward thinker, and bringing with them a positive attitude, they will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as have a good understanding of the window & door markets in the Alberta region.

Responsibilities will include:

Overall responsibility for the entire regional performance including revenue and profitability budgets.

  • Forecast and prepare all sales & operating budgets (partnering with Sales & Operations Managers).
  • Review and evaluate expenses and conduct variance analysis for controllable costs
  • Development, coaching, and coordination of Operations Manager and Sales Manager
  • Overall execution of corporate strategy
  • Attend all regional meetings
  • Process payroll for direct reports
  • Audit regional processes and establish goals, KPI’s, and milestones for the team
  • Display consistent leadership amongst support departments and work collaboratively to achieve a positive customer experience and maintain strong overall net profit performance in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Daily use of CRM and Power BI to collect live data to make effective decisions
  • Work with Sales Manager to strategize profitable sales goals, managing customers based on revenue and profitability.
  • Effectively communicate corporate strategy and initiatives to entire team within the region
  • Monthly review of profitability by customer
  • Host quarterly Business Reviews alongside Director, Operations Manager, and Sales Manager
  • Drive a safe, goal orientated, bought in, and positive culture through High Performance Leadership
  • Overall focus on gross margin of Edmonton Region Customer Solution Centre
  • Cascade corporate initiatives and directives to Edmonton management team
  • Lead the development, training and coaching plans for all CSC employees with respect to innovative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives, driving common vision and desire for growth
  • Provide leadership by creating a culture of excitement, dedication and service in alignment with All Weather Windows core values; ensure compliance with all organizational standards of work practice, policies and legislations

Primary Qualifications Required

                • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or related field would be considered an asset
                • Minimum of 7+ years of sales management responsibility with a demonstrated track record of success
                • Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered in lieu of a post-secondary education
                • Progressive leadership experience with a sales-based organization along with experience overseeing successful change management initiatives
                • Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and expenditures
                • Excellent business acumen
                • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs
                • Experience with a CRM system would be considered an asset
                • Demonstrated leadership, communication and listening skills
                • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
                • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
                • Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
                • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
                • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
                • Experience in window/door manufacturing an asset

Work Conditions:

  • Requires approximately 25% travel within Alberta. Some International travel may also be required on occasion. Candidates must be eligible to travel within Canada, the United States and Internationally
