The Lake Louise Ski Resort is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its team. You will provide support in all activities regarding the management and administration of employee compensation, time & attendance, and benefits administration of approximately 750 permanent and seasonal employees.


· Oversee, prepare and execute full cycle payrolls including yearend reporting and T4s
· Provide direct management, support and coaching to the Payroll support staff
· Identify, recommend and update Payroll policies and procedure documentation
· Review associate records with supporting documentation for new hires, current associates and terminated associates as pertains to payroll
· Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner using the time and attendance and payroll system (ADP Workforce Now) in accordance with payroll policies and procedures
· Liaise closely with the HR Department also using ADP Workforce Now
· Administration of employee benefit plans
· Process and reconcile benefits, expenses, allowances
· Remittances such as source deductions and RRSPs
· Keep a record of all vacation entitlements and usage, stat holidays and banked overtime
· Compile reports for executive team for labor costs
· Liaise with accounting team to reconcile GL entries
· Maintain records in compliance with legal requirements
· Maintain and manage payroll-related legal and regulatory compliances
· Ensure strict confidentiality is upheld regarding individuals pay related information at all times
· Support continuous improvement of processes and systems, including implementation of new applications
· Any other duties as required by Management

Key Competencies:

· 5+ years experience in Alberta payroll management required
· Completion of Canadian Payroll Association Certified Payroll Manager Certification and active membership with CPA
· Post-secondary education business administration or related field considered an asset
· Experience with ADP Workforce Now software a huge asset.
· Time and attendance program experience.
· Experience within a complex payroll environment, specifically the hospitality industry an asset.

The Payroll Administrator will work in a shared office environment. All necessary tools to successfully carry out this role will be provided. This position is a salaried position; extra hours may be required during high demand business periods.

Contract Length: Will be discussed during interview - Permanent year round, or potential term contract, or part time position network
