Human Resources Manager Location: Remote. Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 plus benefits Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Employment type: Full-time, permanent. This posting is for an existing, open vacancy. About the role The Kerr Group of Companies (Northern Business Intelligence and Frontier Technologies) is hiring a Human Resources Manager. You will report directly to the CFO, be a member of the Management group, and build the HR function for a growing team located across Canada. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will own recruitment, policy, compensation analysis, and health and safety, supported by an established HR administration team. What you will do • Lead full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition across both operating companies • Own, update, and implement HR policies and the employee handbook • Lead Occupational Health & Safety compliance, Workers Compensation reporting, and JOHSC support across NS, NB, and NL operations • Analyze compensation data and trends; administer merit and bonus cycles • Run the performance review cycle and coach managers on feedback and formal discipline • Drive engagement, recognition, and company-wide employee communications What you bring • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field • CPHR designation, or CPHR-eligible and actively pursuing • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or manager scope • Working knowledge of Human Rights, provincial Labour Standards, privacy, and OH&S legislation • Hands-on experience supporting Occupational Health & Safety programs • Confident with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Word, and Excel • Experience using AI an asset What we offer • $80,000 to $100,000 base salary • 3 weeks vacation plus 11 paid office holidays • Medical and dental benefits; group RRSP matching • Subsidized fitness benefit About the Kerr Group Since 1997, the Kerr Group has grown into a team spanning across Canada.
