ROLE OVERVIEW: Working on interfaces and interactions between the Payload and the rest of the Satellite (Platform) at system level, during design, AI&T;, and in-orbit operations. Daily coordination with Payload, C&DH; OBDH, Satellite Operations, FSW, FDIR teams. Responsible for all interface control documents (ICDs). KEY REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years systems engineering at satellite level for telecom satellites (ideally digital payload) - Sub-system experience in 1+ of: Communication Payload, FSW, C&DH;, FDIR, Satellite Operations - Ability to coordinate payload-related satellite tests in AI&T; - Experience in phases B/C/D/E of space programs - Owns/produces Mechanical and Electrical ICDs - Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills - 50%+ on-site in Montreal

What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires over 7 years of systems engineering experience with telecom satellites and expertise in payload or satellite sub-systems. Must be able to produce mechanical and electrical ICDs and work on-site in Montreal at least 50% of the time.
