From emergency response to public safety events, every call answered makes a real impact. Application Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age * Reside within the Municipality of North Perth * Available to respond on an on-call basis, 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. * Hold a valid Class G Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DZ license within 2 years of service. * Committed to the required on-going training schedule including evening and weekends. * Willing to complete all training required for NFPA 1001 Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2 and Hazmat NFPA 470 firefighting qualifications within 2 years of service. * Physical and mental capacity to become a certified firefighter in the province of Ontario within 2 years of joining the NPFD. *Successful candidates will be required to complete an aptitude test, physical/medical screening, Vulnerable Sector Check and provide a clean drivers abstract.
