Job Description The House of Commons’ Human Resources Services is currently looking to staff Recruitment and Selection Coordinator positions. In this role, you will be accountable for providing support in the delivery of proactive and innovative talent sourcing strategies as well as recruitment and selection solutions and advice tailored to a designated client portfolio. You will be required to support the Recruitment and Selection Advisor in the execution of talent sourcing, recruitment and selection processes, including creating notices of job opportunity, conducting preliminary screening activities, keeping abreast of on-going processes and actions to ensure proper follow-up, contacting candidates, scheduling assessments and interviews, preparing documentation and coordinating logistics. Work-life balance /35-hour workweek 4 weeks’ vacation (minimum) Qualifications Education: A post-secondary diploma from a recognized institution OR an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience. Experiences: Experience in providing administrative, coordination and logistical support in an office or Human Resources environment. Experience interacting with clients and various stakeholders by following up on client requests and queries. Experience in conducting recruitment and selection activities, such as preparing and maintaining recruitment files, creating notices of job opportunity, conducting preliminary screening, contacting candidates and scheduling assessments. Experience proofreading and ensuring the accuracy of information. Assets: Experience using a Human Resources Management System and/or an applicant tracking system.
