Following flight simulators on computers, here is a simulator of the life in a company

simulateur de vie en entreprise
Café camera video game

Inspired by the popular French television series which is also available in Quebec on TVA channel and in 9 other countries, the game uses the heroes of the French version. You have the simulateur de vie en entreprisepossibility of playing a unionist or a sales representative in order to complete your various missions.

Among these:

  • Get the boss’s son fired
  • Prevent the purchase of the company
  • Fake the accounts
  • Organize a carpool
  • Dismantle the company’s surveillance camera

simulateur de vie en entrepriseYou must interact with about thirty characters that you meet while wandering the corridors. Among them, and not necessarily in the order of appearance, the water delivery man, the industrial psychologist, the elevator repair man, the photocopier repair man, the administrative and financial director, the administrative secretary, the human resources director, the receptionist, the cleaner, the IT man, the intern, the security guard, the boss’s chauffeur…everybody is there even the green plants!

However, as in every company, you are forced to work otherwise you will quickly lose your job. You must therefore accomplish different tasks each day which will only slow you down in the accomplishment of your mission (be present at a meeting before noon, sort through CVs, do some photocopying, write out some reports…). The levels of the game are represented by Monday to Friday and of course for the French version hours are 9h till 19h (35 hour week…?). Your time-keeping management throughout the week is therefore fundamental for completing your missions.

As in the life of a real company, you must take care of your relationships with colleagues by simulateur de vie en entrepriseoffering them coffees or by keeping them updated on the latest gossip. In this way you can get information out of them more easily or even get them to carry out a task for you. But beware, certain topics of conversation are banned with certain colleagues. For example, talking to the sales rep about the union or talking to the secretary about football is not recommended…When you make a friend, you can even ask them to do your work for you which leaves you free to concentrate on your mission. You must not abuse this tactic however because your popularity will suffer each time.

Of course, anything is allowed. Putting sleeping pills in your colleagues coffee so that while they sleep you can search their office, trapping the boss in the elevator and preventing them from attending a meeting, starting rumors or even listening to phone conversations are common practice in the office…

simulateur de vie en entrepriseWill this type of game one day replace internships for administration graduates?
