Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the recruitment of senior-level professionals across both technical and corporate functions. Reporting to the HR leadership team, this individual will develop and execute strategic hiring initiatives while partnering closely with business leaders to identify, attract, and secure top talent. This position is ideal for a recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders, and has experience managing complex hiring mandates. Key Responsibilities Strategic Recruitment Develop and execute recruitment strategies to support hiring for leadership, technical, and corporate positions Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and market research Stay informed on industry hiring trends, labour market conditions, and competitor activity to strengthen recruitment strategies and talent attraction efforts Full-Cycle Recruitment Manage the complete recruitment process, including intake meetings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, reference checks, offer negotiations, and onboarding coordination Ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and implement best practices to enhance overall hiring effectiveness Business Partnership Collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future workforce requirements Provide recruitment expertise, market insights, and hiring recommendations to support workforce planning Establish and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sourcing partners, ensuring quality service and alignment with organizational standards Reporting & Talent Insights Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring outcomes Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership based on recruitment data and market trends Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen the organization's ability to attract high-quality talent Qualifications University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; HR designation or HRPA membership is considered an asset 8–10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including recruitment for senior-level technical and non-technical positions Experience recruiting within the HVAC, industrial equipment, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial pump sectors is highly desirable Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing methodologies Demonstrated success developing recruitment strategies for specialized and leadership-level positions Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions at all organizational levels Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience using recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement Experience coordinating recruitment across multiple business units or geographic regions is an asset Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
