Unposting Date: 2026-08-28 11:59 PM Your Mandate Reporting to the Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for establishing workplace health and well-being advisory services for employees, managers, and the HR team and for operationalizing them. You are the liaison between key internal stakeholders (that is the business leaders, the Human Resources, the Disability Management team, the Occupational Health and Safety team, the legal team and the workplace accommodation team) and external stakeholders (that is external disability claim providers). Your goal is to support employees in returning to work smoothly and safely. Working closely with the disability management team, you will provide personalized recommendations and keep follow-ups moving forward gently and efficiently. You will also participate in return-to-work discussions and help guide HR solutions to find thoughtful, practical accommodations that reflect the unique needs of our work environment. You will support the HR generalist teams and managers on best practices by providing advisory support and adaptive coaching, designing practical tools, and developing training sessions tailored to their needs. You will advise HR and managers, particularly regarding reassignments, rehabilitation, return-to-work protocols, and independent medical evaluations. You will be responsible for analyzing occupational health and disability management data and cases handled by our internal and external services to identify trends and provide recommendations aligned with the needs of managers and HR. Your mandate also includes supporting employees by guiding them through the disability leave management and workplace compensation process. This position is bilingual and based in Montreal. This position offers a hybrid work model (combination of remote work and office time). Specific work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers in line with sector guidelines. Note: This is a new, developing mandate. You will be responsible for gradually implementing the various components of the role in collaboration with People & Culture colleagues. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of science degree in Nursing (B.Sc.N.). Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ). Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in human resources, disability case management and occupational health. Bilingualism (French and English). Strong knowledge of excel is essential. Knowledge of google suite and Workday is an asset. Candidate Profile: Relevant and extensive experience in disability management and workplace accidents, preferably in a unionized environment. Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations governing disability, occupational injuries, and the duty to accommodate. Strong leadership and informal management skills, particularly in mentoring, staff development, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture. Strong ability to establish, influence, and build interpersonal relationships and partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to analyze and present complex, sensitive information on challenging topics, whether in one-on-one meetings or in a group setting. Impeccable judgment with the ability to make sound decisions and creatively solve problems in complex situations. Experience in creating and delivering training sessions. Ability to analyze complex data to identify trends and actionable insights. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
