Job summary

Position Overview We are looking for a Health Recruiter to join our Clinician Services team. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering with hiring managers, contract managers, and internal stakeholders to attract and hire highly qualified healthcare professionals. You will support both ongoing contracts and new business opportunities, helping ensure Calian continues to deliver exceptional healthcare staffing solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where relationship building, strategic sourcing, and proactive talent engagement are key to success. Responsibilities Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and desired candidate qualifications for ongoing contracts and new business opportunities. Participate in proposal strategy meetings, kick-off meetings, and requirements meetings for assigned bid development efforts. Develop recruitment and advertising strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals. Create engaging job postings and source candidates through social media, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other recruitment channels. Conduct phone screens, interviews, and reference checks to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Present and negotiate employment offers while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Build and maintain talent pipelines through ongoing networking and relationship management. Represent Calian at conferences, career fairs, and networking events. Partner with contract management personnel to gain a strong understanding of customer environments and staffing requirements. Support divisional revenue and gross margin objectives by delivering successful recruitment outcomes. Participate in recruitment process improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous team improvement. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum of three years of successful recruitment experience in a relevant environment. Experience recruiting healthcare professionals is considered an asset. Post-secondary education in healthcare is preferred. Bilingualism in English and French is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. Additional Requirements Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular attendance at the Ottawa office. Ability to support multiple healthcare contracts and respond to changing business priorities. Experience participating in proposal or bid recruitment activities is considered an asset. Secret Security Clearance is required. Compensation $75,000 to $78,000 Position Type - We have 1 available position.
