The HR Manager will lead the day-to-day human resources functions and provide strategic guidance to managers on employee relations and performance. They are responsible for overseeing recruitment, compliance with Ontario legislation, and the development of HR policies and total rewards programs.

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the day-to-day Human Resources function, providing leadership and direction to a team of HR professionals. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, attendance, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues. Oversee full-cycle recruitment and on boarding initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario employment legislation, company policies, and workplace regulations. Oversee the employee benefits and total rewards, compensation programs. Support workplace health and safety initiatives and work closely with management to promote a safe and compliant work environment. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks. Coach and develop the HR team, establishing priorities, providing ongoing support, and ensuring high-quality service to employees and management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience 5+ years' experience in Human Resources Strong knowledge of HR legislation Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills Attention to detail and good judgement

Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or relevant experience and at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources. Strong knowledge of HR legislation and demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees are required.
